Why We Built This Site
Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 34 generally makes court records open to inspection unless a statute, rule, or court order restricts them. Access still depends on finding the right custodian. The Lake County Circuit Court Clerk keeps Circuit and General Sessions records, while the Clerk & Master keeps Chancery and probate-side files. Juvenile and city records follow separate offices and limits. Because no official Lake County trial search form is published, the practical routes are a clerk request, counter visit, or the Circuit Court public computer. The Tennessee appellate search applies only after a case reaches an appellate court.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Tennessee court, clerk of court, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes shown on some pages. A provider controls its service, prices, data practices, and results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports this free reference resource. Lake County Court Docket does not set the provider’s charges or determine which results it returns.
